B. Spritzasbest, mit einem Asbestanteil von mehr als 60 Gew.-%) unterschieden wird. Asbestzementprodukte wurden als [[Dach]]- und Fassadenplatten, Fensterbretter oder Blumenkästen, Wasserleitungsrohre und für Zwischenwände (Leichtbauwände) eingesetzt. Spritzasbeste wurden bevorzugt aus Feuerschutzgründen in Klimaanlagen und Schachtsystemen eingesetzt.<br /> <br /> Durch Alterungsprozesse und nach jahrelanger Nutzung der Gebäude kommt es zum allmählichen Freisetzen von Fasern.
