Beim Umgang mit Isocyanaten ist generell Vorsicht geboten. Vor allem bei der Verarbeitung von 2-Komponenten-Reaktionsharzen (2K-Harze) können Gefährdungen auftreten. Somit sind umfangreiche Arbeitsschutzmaßnahmen notwendig. Neben Vorsichtsmaßnahmen gegen die akuten Gefährdungen von Isocyanaten sollten Allergiker und Asthmatiker sowie bereits gegen Isocyanate sensibilisierte Mitarbeiter nicht zu Arbeiten mit Isocyanaten oder deren Zubereitungen herangezogen werden.
